"Having worked with Cuttlefish for a number of years, I would recommend their services very highly. A friendly and accommodating team with a great knowledge of website building and the many other aspects of being present on the Internet."
John Young, Director at Orange Hedgehog
No sooner has the revamped Jitty young person's web site been relaunched than it wins a major national award! Children and Young People Now (www.cypnow.co.uk) has given The Jitty the 'Best interactive media created by young people, for young people' award in their Positive Images Awards.
This is well-deserved recognition for all the hard work put in to the site by Jitty members, so well done. You can visit the new Jitty site at www.thejitty.com.
Our Web site for the RNIB College has been given the RNIB's prestigious 'See It Right' status for meeting rigorous accessibility standards. This standard seeks to ensure that web sites are fully usable by visually impaired internet users.
Cuttlefish, through our Pineapster music community, has supported the Summer Sundae Fringe Festival since its start in 2006. This year's festival is bigger than ever and now covers a whole two weeks of activities around Leicester. We've also used it as a test-bed for our new cSocial community building system. Visit www.summersundaefringe.com to see what cSocial can be configured to do.
Our new site for Coalville's Changing is the latest in a series of new sites we have produced for Northwest Leicestershire District Council. Other include Footprints and a consultation site for their Local Development Framework.
We were very pleased to hear that the Charnwood Borough council website has been assessed in the 2009 SOCITM Better Connected survey as being one of only 13 Shire District Councils in England to have a website with "Excellent Content".
We moved CBC over to a new version of our Content Management System last year and it's great to see that the hard work, both within the council and at Cuttlefish, has paid off Well done all.
